For the most part, she appears to have a kind, caring, and helpful attitude, being eager to fix the Tubby Custard Machine, as well as hand out custards to her companions. In Slendytubbies saga, Po displays a variable personality - depending purely on the player’s dialogue choices. In the Teletubbies, Po is described as being quite shy, lovely and rather tomboyish - The Red Teletubby often plays with a scooter, that she refers to as: “Po cooter!” - Tinky Winky is explained to be Po’s best friend.
Po po cracked#

On her Pre-Mutation, she has a gray face, as well as empty-looking eyes.Īs an infected, Po is portrayed as some sort of an insect-like creature - lacking ears and a lower jaw, in the way came luminescent red eyes, together with long sharp teeth protruding from the upper jaw. One day, Po ate a Tubby Custard with her beloveds, Tinky Winky had an attack of distress during the night because of the custard he consumed, thereby left the home - Po became one of his victims. She was tested in a futuristic house within a wild surface known as the Main Land and, just like her housemates, was not aware of her situation. Po was an experiment subject along with her friends - Tinky Winky, Dipsy and Laa-Laa.
Po po series#
With a long history creating paintings, sculpture and land-based works, Po Po began working with photography in the 2000s and describes it not as a visual record, but as a means to reflect his thoughts regarding political, social and cultural concerns.Po is a major character of the Slendytubbies series and one of its primary antagonists when infected. Standing across the street from the bus stops, he took a series of photographs and videos documenting the reactions of people to the signs - from feelings of threat or oppression, to avoidance, or humour that the signs would be placed within the context of public transport. He was particularly interested in how these elitist, exclusionary signs operated in countries that have been under dictatorships or volatile political systems. For his VIP Project (Yangon/Dhaka) 2010–15, he placed VIP signs in public bus stops in the cities of Yangon and Dhaka, the capital cities of Myanmar and Bangladesh, recording the politics of how public space functions under very different political conditions. Po Po is a pioneer in the field of conceptual and performance art in Myanmar, and has been practising as an artist since the late 1970s.
